Archers Cup History
The Archers Cup was first held in September 2018 and was a great success. The London Archers (UK), London Mets (UK), KMC Ambassadors (DE/USA) and IDF-Paris (FR) played a highly competitive U13 tournament with the KMC-Ambassadors coming out on top as champions.
In 2019, the tournament was played in June on the same weekend as the MLB Series. The U13 tournament included Brussels Baseball (BE), Hoofddorp Pioneers (NL), Scimitars (NL), KMC Ambassadors (DE/USA) and London Archers Blue and Red (UK). The London Archers Red came out of the tournament as champions.
The tournament was not held in 2020, 2021, or 2022 due to COVID.
In 2023, the Archers Cup returned with U13 and U16 categories. Teams from RP Outlaws (DE/USA), Nettuno Lions (IT), and Future Stars (NL) attended. In the U13 tournament Archers Blue game out on top and in the U16 tournament Archers Red took the championship knocking off RP Outlaws in the final.
In 2024, the Archers Cup once again was played with U13 and U16 categories. Teams from RP Outlaws (DE/USA), Navigators (DE), and Amsterdam Pirates (NL) attended in addition to Archers Red and Blue. In the U13 tournament the Navigators from Germany game out on top vs RP Outlaws. In the U16 tournament Archers Red knocked off the RP Outlaws 4-3 in the final to take the championship.
The Archers Cup will return in 2025. Details to be finalised.
